Tennessee | Remote Online Notary

Tennessee authorizes its notaries to perform online notarizations pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 8-16-301 et seq.

In addition, Tennessee recognizes online notarizations that are properly performed by notaries of other states. The applicable interstate recognition laws are Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 66-22-103, 66-22-107, 66-22-110, 66-22-114, 66-22-115 & 8-16-116.
